Moving is a perfect time to give your garden a face-life!

Protect your gardening equipment when you move by draining water from garden hoses and gas from lawnmowers and other garden equipment.

When transplanting plants and shrubs, be sure to give them ample room around the roots and sufficient water. Also, try to transplant your garden within a few days of your move in order to prevent damage and stress to your plants.

Take care of major gardening and landscaping tasks as soon as you settle into your new home. Take breaks from decorating and other moving tasks by mowing your lawn and pruning hedges. After all, if the previous owner didn’t do it, your garden could soon end up being a jungle.

Once you have finished the urgent tasks, kick back and relax. After all, you have years to finish designing and landscaping your yard.
